Motorola Razr: hands-on video

Yesterday Motorola announced it’s latest smartphone, the new-generation Motorola Razr, revitilised and reborn as a high-performance Android smartphone.

Running Android 2.3.5, but with an Android Ice Cream Sandwich confirmed by Motorola for an over the air update in 2012, the Razr is only 7.1mm deep, but manages to include a powerful 1.2Ghz processor with 1GB RAM.

The Razr has a huge 4.3-inch screen and it’s also the first handset from Moto to include Super AMOLED technology.

There’s an 8-megapixel camera that shoots 1080p video and – like the Atrix – when used with a selection of docks, you can access the WebTop application with a Firefox browser.

Recombu’s Ben Kersey had some hands-on time with the Motorola Razr yesterday, at an event in Berlin.

Check out the video below, but we were really impressed. It’s a well crafted phone, packed with great features and we can’t wait to get our hands-on it.

The Motorola Razr launch date will be November, UK retailer Clove is selling it for around £379 sim free. O2 has confirmed it will be stocking the phone, but there’s no news on pricing yet.
