Orange San Francisco II leaks

Orange San Fransisco Leak

The Orange San Francisco may soon be getting a successor – according to some information that has appeared prematurely on the Orange website.

A picture of the Orange San Francisco II phone along with basic specification appeared on the Orange help and support page, before being pulled.

The original San Francisco from Orange was wildly popular, offering a 3.5-inch 480×800 touchscreen and all the usual Android features at an entry-level price.

The San Francisco II retains the same screen size and resolution, but runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and includes an 800 Mhz processor, which has been boosted from 600Mhz. There’s 512MB internal memory, which can be expanded via microSD and a 5-megapixel primary camera with auto focus and flash.

With the four Android buttons along the bottom, Orange hasn’t moved much from the original design, although the edges look slightly sharper and the phone itself is grey rather than black, all in all it looks slightly sleeker.

Orange has yet to officially announce the phone, so there’s no news on pricing or availability as yet.

Are you looking forward to the Orange San Francisco II? Or are you a customer who bought the original San Francisco who is looking for something new? Let us know below or via Twitter and Facebook.
