Orange to stock HTC’s ChaCha, Desire S and Wildfire S

Continuing Orange’s obsession with everything Android, not to be confused with Everything Everywhere, the UK phone network will be bringing three of the new HTC phones to these shores, all of which will be packing Android 2.4, the very latest version of Google’s phone system.

The ChaCha is the final shape of the much-rumoured HTC Facebook Phone. Aside from a full QWERTY keyboard, Facebook gets its own exclusive button, taken to mean that there’ll heavy Facebook integration. Sharing music or videos you’re currently watching can be done with the push of a button. The ChaCha’s 2.6-inch display is also touchscreen for easy web-browsing.

Sequel to highly-rated HTC Desire, the Desire S will have a few cosmetic changes,no more optical track-pad, and an aluminium-themed case redesign. The 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen will be able to show off any HD videos or photos taken on the five-megapixel camera. This is coupled with a front-facing VGA camera for video-call fun.

The Wildfire S is this year’s version of the popular mid-range Wildfire. Like the others, it will be running on the the latest version of Android, meaning it will be compatible with the whole range of apps available from the Android Market. Compared to the Desire S, it will have a smaller 3.2-inch touchscreen, but expect this to be reflected in the pricing, which, sadly is yet to be announced.

Along with dates, we hope to get more details once those demo sets are charged and ready for a thorough testing.
