Samsung Galaxy Nexus: No 32GB model for the UK?

Some potential bad news for any Android fans waiting breath-abated for the release of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus: according to tech sellers Clove, the UK will only be receiving the 16GB model of the Samsung smartphone, and not the larger 32GB Nexus.

We know, we know, we’re inconsolable as well, but take heart: if the Samsung Galaxy S2 is a worthy template, the Galaxy Nexus will almost certainly come with a Micro-SD cards slot, upping the potential onboard storage to 48GB – more than enough for all but the most avid music fan.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus was announced by Google and Samsung last night at a special event in Hong Kong, after being delayed over a week in the wake of Steve Jobs’ death. Stuff to look forward to includes a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, curved 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich – the first device to run the new Google OS.

Clove have the Galaxy Nexus up for pre-release for £514.80 including VAT, and are expecting to receive their first stock sometime in November.
