Samsung Galaxy Nexus UK prices and dates: Who’s selling it, when and for how much?

Today is perhaps the biggest day in the calendar if you’re part of #teamandroid and you’re keen on being amount the first to get a taste of Ice Cream Sandwich in the UK.

We dutifully queued up, and we’ve been busy tweeting all the action from Phones 4U’s London store on Oxford Street. If you’re unable to get to London today or payday’s an agonising couple of weeks away, we’ve quickly rounded up all of the prices of the Galaxy Nexus in case you needed a second option.


Phones 4U

The first port of call for Android die-hards. Available to buy from Phones 4U today, you can snap up the Galaxy Nexus free on £41 24 month Orange contracts.

Or, if you fancy shelling out a bit more, £59 will nab you a Galaxy Nexus on a £31 24 month contract on Vodafone.

Both deals include Phones 4U 3 months of free Wi-Fi access within The Cloud’s network. The Orange deal gives you 1200 minutes, 3000 texts but just 250MB of data, whereas the Vodafone deal gives you 300 minutes, 3000 texts and 500MB of data.

Alternatively, there’s another Orange deal, where you pay £59 for the Nexus again, and £31 a month for 24 months; this gives you 750MB, 400 minutes and 3000 texts. Free 48 hour delivery is thrown in with all orders, meaning you should get your Nexus by the weekend if you’re quick.

Three

As well as Phones 4U, you can also buy the Galaxy Nexus from Three today. Contract availability includes The One Plan, which gives you that all important unlimietd tdata and an exhaustive 2000 minutes and 5000 texts. This costs £40 a month and is a 24 month deal.
You can also pick the Galaxy Nexus up on a £34 a month Text 500 plan, which gives you 500 minutes, 5000 texts and 1GB of data.

£37 a month gives you the same minutes and messages but gives you unlimited data. Both of these deals are 24 month plans and the cost of the Galaxy Nexus is £0.00.

Those who want to snap the Nexus up on Three will have to fork out £499.99 (plus a minimum £10 top-up). The £15 monthly add-on however gives you 300 minutes, 3000 texts and again, all-you-ca-eat data.

Earliest deliveries for orders placed today should see you getting your Galaxy Nexus next Tuesday the 22nd of November.

O2

O2 is now selling the Samsung Galaxy Nexus free for a £57 24 month deal. This gives you unlimited minutes and texts and 500MB of data. £61 a month gets you the same deal with 1GB of internet instead of 500MB.

If you don’t mind stumping up a bit of cash up front, you can have the Galaxy Nexus away for £105 on a £36 24 month deal which gives you 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of internet.

 


Vodafone

Vodafone’s Coming Soon page hasn’t shifted from how it was earlier. But we understand that this could be changing pretty soon – we’ll update this section as soon as we hear of any changes.

Carphone Warehouse

At the time of writing, the Carphone Warehouse pre-order page for the Galaxy Nexus hasn’t changed. If you’re intent on picking one up from Carphone though, you can enter your details in the contact form. We’ll update this section once pricing is available.


Clove

Clove’s unlocked and SIM-only stock of the Galaxy Nexus won’t be available to buy ‘til the 23rd of November, or next Wednesday. It’s going for an eyebrow-raising £514.80 including VAT, but at least when you’ve got it, you’ve got it in all it’s unlocked glory.

Amazon

Amazon is selling the Galaxy Nexus unlocked for a little more – £519.99 – than Clove and a little later – stock won’t be budging until the 2nd of December.
