Samsung Galaxy Note 4 accidentally outed

The full specs list for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has been accidentally posted early by a retailer, revealing the phablet’s 5.7-inch ‘Quad HD’ screen, 16-megapixel camera and more…

Looks like Indonesian retailer Erafone is about to receive a stern email from Samsung, after apparently posting up the full specs list of the upcoming Galaxy Note 4 phablet, plus a photo and local price. Considering the phone is set to launch on September 3rd at the huge IFA expo in Berlin, Samsung probably isn’t too happy about this premature internet ejaculation.

The listed specs are pretty much what we expected from the new Galaxy Note 4, which suggests that the mistake is genuine. So expect a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen packing in a dense 2560×1440 resolution, the same as the mighty 5.5-inch LG G3, which gives an impressive 515 pixels-per-inch.

There’s a 16-megapixel camera, just like the Galaxy S5‘s, with dual-LED flash and no doubt the same features found on the S5. The Galaxy Note 4 is powered by either a quad-core SnapDragon 805 or an octa-core Exynos processor, and there’s four whole gigs of RAM packed inside.

You get either 16, 32 or 64GB of storage, with the microSD slot supporting cards up to a whopping 128GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is listed on Erafone at 9,499,000 Idonesian Rupiah, which may sound rather eye-watering until you realise 1 Rupiah equals 0.000051 British pounds. So basically, that price is just shy of £500.

Of course, even though we now know what the Galaxy Note 4 looks like and what’s packed away inside, that doesn’t mean the launch will be a flaccid disappointment. Samsung could still chuck out some features that haven’t been revealed – after all, there were rumours that it could feature a UV sensor, to protect your skin.

If you can’t be bothered waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to launch on September 3rd, here’s that specs list in full:
