Sony Ericsson Nozomi spotted once again in official render

Say hello once again to the Sony Ericsson Nozomi. No stranger to leaks, this time we’re seeing an official render along with a few juicy details.

It’s a small image to be sure, but the distinctive characteristics of the device are unmistakable, looking similar to what we’ve seen previously. Information about the phone has mostly been cropped out of the image, but there are a few bits and pieces we can take away.

Looks like Sony’s new offering will be a dual-core variant, and “1920” is also mentioned under the Camera section, so we’re most likely looking at 1080p video recording. Previous rumoured specs included a 720p screen, 1GB of RAM, and 12 megapixel camera. It’s unknown whether the device would be running Ice Cream Sandwich at launch, but we would hazard a guess that it will.

What about the branding? If you look up top, you can see that the Xperia moniker is still alive and well, so Nozomi is most likely the internal codename.

Little else is known at this point, although we’ll probably be seeing this particular handset at MWC in a few months time.
