Three rolls out All You Can Eat data to Pay Monthly and Pay-As-You-Go punters for an extra £3 a month

We love all you can eat buffets. Not so much because they’re an excuse to pig out, but because you know that you’re paying a set amount and you know that you don’t have to worry about the bill if you do want to eat loads. You can take as much or as little as you like and you pay the same.

That’s why we nearly choked on our seventeenth spring roll when we heard that Three is rolling out its successful All You Can Eat plan to all of it’s customers from next Friday, the 7th of October onwards.

Three All You Can Eat was launched alongside The One Plan last December, and gives smartphone users peace of mind when it comes to surfing the web and downloading apps.

All You Can Eat Data was later launched as a £15 30-day plan for pay-as-you-go (PAYG) punters in March this year.

Now paying just £3 a month with Three will see you able to do t’internet on your phone without fear of riding up whopping great ‘out of bundle’ charges. This applies to all customers whether you’re on contract or PAYG.

Hungry hungry appos

Stats from Three also show a spike in data from customers. The average amount of data used by Three’s iPhone 4 customers in February this year was around 488MBs per month. By August this had risen to almost 1.2GBs, over double.

“The One Plan quickly became our number one contract tariff and our all-you-can-eat PAYG offer is our most popular bundle,” said Thomas Malleschitz, marketing director at Three UK.

“Our customers tell us that their use of data goes up significantly over the lifetime of their contracts, as they do more and more with their handset. All-you-can-eat data means that they don’t have to worry, they can have that peace of mind for the long term on a contract of their choice.”

Three Talk & Text Tariffs get unlimited too

From next month, Three’s Talk and Text Pay Monthly plans will come with all you can eat data baked in, and will start at £18 a month.

Existing customers who are already on a Talk or Text plan will be able to pay the £3 extra to get the add-on, but new customers will get unlimited data built in to their contracts going forwards.

Exact pricing details haven’t been released, but we’re told that the following contracts will come with unlimited data, and will start from £18 a month.
