Looks like the Nokia Lumia 800 has applied for membership at the White Young Things club, according to a post on its Facebook page.
Shots of hand models posing with black, cyan and magenta versions of the Nokia Lumia 800 all pose with colour co-ordinated nail polish, save for the last fourth hand which is empty. The nails on this hand however are painted white. What could Nokia possibly be hinting at?
White editions of phones traditionally do incredibly well, with white versions of the iPhone 4 in particular being in high demand. White versions of the BlackBerry Bold 9900, HTC Sensation, Samsung Galaxy S2 and more recently the Samsung Galaxy Nexus have followed suit.
A shiny coat of white paint aisde, we can’t imagine seeing how this Nokia Lumia 800 will be any different from the one we’ve reviewed and thoroughly road tested.
No word on when a white version of the Nokia Lumia 800 will be flying to our shelves; we’ve asked Nokia for an ETA on this. Until then, we’ve spotted that our friends at Slashgear have got some hands-on pics and a video of the white wonder.
