HTC Sensation appears on Vodafone Coming Soon page: 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, Android 2.3, 8-megapixel camera

The HTC Sensation – aka the HTC Pyramid – has decloaked on the Coming Soon page of Vodafone’s site. The much-anticipated and much-leaked-about smartphone is HTC’s dual core debut and looks every inch a winner.

While the Specification tab on Vodafone’s page is blank, the general About text lists a few juicy morsels to feast on.

The screen is an SLCD with a qHD resolution and is confirmed at 4.3-inches. The megapixel count of the twin camera set up weighs in at 8 and 1.2 for main and front respectively.

Stereo surround recording is hinted at as well as HD video recording which is interesting. Internal memory is given at 4GB, and it looks like Vodafone will be bunging in an 8GB card as well.

Then there’s that 1.2GHz processor, which means that you’ll be able to play high-end games like Dungeon Defenders: First Wave and Galaxy on Fire 2 on your Sensation.

Unsurprisingly there’s not so much as a hint of a price or release date yet, just a link to where you can register for updates. We’re chasing up Vodafone and HTC for further information on this now.
