UPDATE: HTC and Motorola have both released new information on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich updates for devices in 2012. Scroll down to the relevant section for more information.

UPDATE: The Samsung Galaxy Nexus - and therefore Ice Cream Sandwich - is out now. We’ve reviewed it thoroughly and have taken many many pictures with it.

The good news is that if you’re not quite in the market for a Galaxy Nexus, or you're already catered for phone-wise, Ice Cream Sandwich will be rolling out to other Android phones and tablets over the coming months.

We’ll be keeping a tally of which phones and tablets will be getting Ice Cream Sandwich and when, updating this database as we go.

Not every manufacturer has fully announced its Ice Cream intentions just yet so bear with us; we'll keep this page as up to date as we possibly can, as we've done with our Gingerbread pages previously.

Samsung

Confirmation by way of Samsung Italia says we're getting Ice Cream Sandwich on the Galaxy S2 and the Galaxy Note.

We've been able to get some hands-on time with an (unofficial) alpha of Android 4.0 on a Galaxy Note, but there's still no ETA for either this or the S2.

In the non-firmation news, it's been announced that the Samsung Galaxy S will not be getting Ice Cream Sandwich, ditto the original Samsung Galaxy Tab. Dates and availability for the rest as and when we hear of them.

Asus

Asus has already begun rolling out Android 4.0 updates to buyers of its new Transformer Prime tablet-laptop hybrid.

So as soon as you get your Prime and you’ve set it all up the update ought to land pretty much right away.

Buyers of the original Transformer aren’t to be left out in the cold though; Asus has confirmed via it’s Facebook page that it’ll be coming to punters in the UK.

Said to be coming ‘after Jan 12th’, there’s been no concrete date for this as of yet; we’ll of course update once we know for sure.

Update: Asus has announced that it expects Ice Cream Sandwich to be ready for the Transformer Prime (TF101) by the end of February.
