Ferrari LaFerrari vs Enzo video deserves your attention

GoPro cameras + Ferrari Enzo + LaFerrari = YouTube gold?

Only a lucky few will ever own the Ferrari LaFerrari or its elder Enzo sibling. Fewer still will get to drive them, so we must count ourselves lucky for every glimpse we get of these wonderful machines, and luckier still when that glimpse features both cars being driven in anger. Christmas has come early, folks.

In this YouTube video we see (and hear) the hybrid Ferrari LaFerrari at the front of the pack, with the Enzo chasing as both cars make their way along what appears to be a winding mountain path.

“We spent a truly epic day driving the LaFerrari and the Ferrari Enzo in the hills, where we managed to test the power of both cars,” the YouTube description explained. “We placed a few GoPros on the LaFerrari mean while the Enzo was chasing us, enjoy the sights and obviously the ferocious exhaust notes of that V12 engine!”

The video’s glorious soundtrack is provided by the LaFerrari’s 789bhp 6.5-litre V12, which is backed up by a 158bhp electric motor that provides an instant surge of power like the KERS system you see on a Formula One car.

With the total output at 950bhp, you can see why the LaFerrari hits 0 to 62mph in less than 3 seconds, 0 to 124mph in less than 7 seconds and on to a 217mph+ top speed. This machine and its McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 competitors represent a new breed of supercar.

Although the Enzo Ferrari keeps its distance (deliberately or not, we are unsure), we should remember this was once a flagship product and the LaFerrari’s predecessor. Power comes from a 660bhp V12 that develops 657Nm of torque.

The YouTube video, which has already been viewed nearly 180,000 times, was uploaded and captured by well-known motoring enthusiast and YouTuber Marchettino.

One YouTuber commented: “God-like footage.” We’re inclined to agree. Now do yourself a favour: set the quality to 1080p and give it a butcher’s.
