Infiniti Q60 Concept is a twin-turbo treat

This may not be the first time we have laid eyes on the Infiniti Q60, but only now can we can share with you a plethora of pictures and photos of the 3 and 4 Series competitor.

The two-door Q60 Concept coupe is a stylish beast to behold, but it’s what lies beneath really interests us. A twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 should make for a spritely drive. We just hope the seven-speed automatic is up to snuff or there’s a manual option.

That’s not to say the looks take a back seat, mind you. White leather is about as impractical as it gets but it really suits the simplistic, luxury interior, while the 21-inch black alloy wheels, wide wheel arches and blue lighting behind the Infiniti badge and front grille make you look twice.

Noteworthy additions include Infiniti’s Direct Adaptive Steering, which can allow independent control of the tyre angle and steering input, and the InTuition system, which lets up to four separate drivers tailor their driving position, audio and heating and cooling among other things.

Infiniti Executive Design Director Alfonso Albaisa said: “The Q60 Concept is Infiniti’s vision for a sports coupe. Design, performance and premium quality – these are what makes a sports coupe stand above the crowd. And these are what you’ll find on the definitive Q60 Concept.”

The last concept car from Infiniti was the Q80 and its 1+1+1+1 seating position. Yes, passengers all sit in a row behind the driver.

Check out the pictures below while we wait for the big North America International Auto Show 2015 announcement. Stay tuned, folks.
