Supercars are a great way of showing your general awesomeness to the wider world, but their limited passenger capacity means you’re restricted to carrying one or two passengers. Limousine company Cars for Stars has ways of getting around this, however, turning some of our favourite supercars into limousines.
The UK-based company’s latest creation is a Lamborghini Aventador stretch limo. It’s not real, sadly. The car was digitally rendered as part of a marketing stunt, but Cars For Stars says it could “easily materialise into a reality with the support and investment of a willing and passionate sponsor.” In other words, if they can find someone rich enough to lend them an Aventador and a bag of money they’ll be perfectly happy to take a hacksaw to the thing.
Cars for Stars imagines the Aventador stretch limo would use the standard car’s beefy 6.5-litre 700hp V12 engine, but would openly concede performance is affected by the extra weight it would carry. The additional lard comes not only from the increased body length, but from components incorporated to reinforce the thing and an extra set of scissor doors at the rear.
Inside the stretch Aventador, Cars For Stars would include plasma screens, iPod docks, a surround sound system and an L-shaped five-seater settee styled to resemble the Aventador’s original seats. These would be heated and cooled on demand and covered in wipe-clean leather, so passengers needn’t worry about champagne-based accidents should the driver get a bit carried away.
We emplore anyone with a spare Aventador to get in touch with Cars for Stars so we can get this party started. They’re willing to name the car after any investor and tattoo the thing with your Twitter name down the side for 12 months ‘free’ of charge. Bargain.
