The Lamborghini Aventador is seriously bonkers. It has 700hp, will do 0-62mph in under 3 seconds and looks like something Bruce Wayne would drive. Despite this, there are a select few humans in existence, nutters mostly, that think it isn’t quite bonkers enough.

Among these are the modders at DMC who, back in September, developed a Molto Veloce styling and performance kit that took the Aventador to new extremes. Today, the company has taken things a step further and upgraded the upgrades to produce a new Molto Veloce stage 2 ‘super Aventador’ known as the LP900 SV.
The latest Molto Veloce kit (that’s Italian for ‘very fast’, by the way) brings with it a wider, more pronounced nose, carbon-fibre front bumper (though we’d be reluctant to actually bump anything with it in case it shatters) and a couple of air-channelling F1-style canards. At the rear, the kit sports a new diffuser with three GT fins and the whole thing is finished with an oversized rear spoiler that makes a Klingon bat’leth look like a butter knife.
If you want the power to match the looks, DMC can tinker with the Lambo’s engine to boost power from 700hp to a frankly disturbing 900hp, thanks primarily to 12 new throttle plates – one on each cylinder – some ECU optimisation and a titanium exhaust.
DMC can even supply you with a modified interior package, though we’ve yet to see any images of this.
The power upgrade kit will set you back €80,000 (£65,278), while the stage 1 styling kit comes to €125,000 (£102,000). Those who want the Stage 2 updates will have to fork out an additional €25,000 (£20,398). It doesn’t come cheap, then, but if you absolutely, positively must have the most impressive hypercar on the lot, this is clearly the only way to go.
