The store is run by Brand&, the licensing and merchandising division of motorsport engineering gurus Prodrive. Located in the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre adjacent to the 2012 Olympic Park, it’ll sell a range of McLaren, Aston Martin and Aston Martin Racing ‘lifestyle’ goods alongside other recognised brands such as Hugo Boss, Hackett, Links of London and TAG Heuer.

As with all these shops, the variety of products on offer is fairly wide. They’ll be selling everything from key rings for ‘a few pounds’ up to a TAG McLaren MP4-12C watch costing nearly £9,000. There are collectables such as Amalgam 1/8 scale model McLaren and Aston Martin Racing cars, jackets by Hugo Boss, sunglasses, as well as a range of Vodafone McLaren Mercedes and Aston Martin Racing replica clothing so you can show your support on race day.

If you’re too skint to buy anything, you can always pop along just to ogle the 2011 McLaren F1 car that serves as the store’s centrepiece.

“We have been considering a retail outlet for some time now to bring a full range of merchandise, lifestyle and luxury items into the high street to an audience that may not normally consider such products,” said Carl Ball, Brand& managing director.”

“Westfield Stratford with its mix of designer outlets and high street brands is the perfect location and thanks to the support from McLaren & Aston Martin we have now been able to make this concept a reality.”

The store is on ‘The Street’ in Westfield Stratford City and is open every day. If Lotus is more your cup of tea then don’t forget to check out the Lotus Originals store on Regent Street, London.
