Skoda celebrates Octavia vRS with Mega-Man Pram

We love anything that wrings extra performance from an otherwise ordinary vehicle. That includes hot hatches, hot estates, hot crossovers, hot saloons like the new Skoda Octavia vRS and hot pushchairs like this vRS Mega Man-Pram.

This monster buggy was created by a team of Skoda engineers that were given the task of bringing vRS qualities to everyday objects in an effort to promote the new Octavia vRS. The result is a bonkers baby transportation system that stands two metres high, packs wing mirrors, anti-stress grips, a headlamp beam for night walks and sports-style upholstery.

Best of all; it sits on 20-inch alloy wheels with oversize brake callipers, all-terrain tyres and hydraulic suspension.

Sadly, you can’t buy the vRS Mega Man-Pram in the shops, which is a shame because a survey commissioned by the company suggests two thirds of dads would spend more time pushing their babies if they had access to a higher spec and more stylish buggy.

Heidi Cartledge, Head of Marketing at ŠKODA UK said: ‘The ‘vRS Mega Man-Pram’ proves what you can do when you take the vRS vision off road and drive it straight into the nursery. We used it in the new Octavia vRS TV ad because we wanted to bring to life the idea of enhancing the performance of everyday objects. The high tech-buggy gives a tongue in cheek sense of what you could experience if you vRS’d your life’.
