Prices start from £23/month for up-to-38Mbps with a 15GB monthly download allowance, up to £72.50/month for up-to-76Mbps with a 500GB monthly download allowance.
The service comes with a BT-supplied modem, and the standard £96 connection fee is being waived until July 31, 2012. If you’re moving from a different FTTC provider, Uno is also waiving the £60 migration fee.
There’s a minimum 12-month contract, and line rental can be charged through Uno’s own phone service or any other phone provider on a BT line.
Uno also offers a choice of standard and enhanced connections, with different assured download speeds at peak time.
Standard means 12Mbps on up-to-38Mbps, and 15Mbps on up-to-76Mbps. Enhanced gives 16Mbps on up-to-38Mbps, and 30Mbps on up-to-76Mbps.
Uno’s FTTC is not supplied with a router, but should work with any router supporting PPPoE, with the Technicolour TG582n and Billion 7800N recommended.
Download allowances Uno promises not to traffic shape at any time, and download allowances apply only during peak hours of 8am-8pm, Monday to Friday.
Over-usage is billed at £1.10/GB, and there is a 400GB monthly fair usage limit on off-peak traffic, after which customer support will contact the user to discuss their usage.
