All 4 fires up on new Amazon Fire TV box and PlayStation 4

Channel 4’s catch-up and on demand service All 4 is now available for the latest Amazon Fire TV box and the PlayStation 4.

While All 4 won’t be available to owners of Fire TV Sticks and older Fire TV boxes immediately, Amazon says it’s working on it; in the meantime you’ll at least be able to reach for a Chromecast if you want to quickly fire up Channel 4 content on your TV.

All 4 joins the likes of BBC iPlayer, Demand 5 and ITV Hub, ITV’s recently upgraded ITV Player, meaning that catch up services from every terrestrial broadcaster are now available on Amazon’s platform.

All 4 began replacing 4oD, Channel 4’s older on-demand service in March last year. The new-look service primarily boasts a new, streamlined layout which gives you access to live and catch-up content from Channel 4, More 4, E4, Film4 and 4seven.

All 4 also serves as a springboard for new exclusive new offerings including Walter Presents. This new series, showcasing international drama handpicked by TV producer Walter Iuzzolino, will eventually feature over 600 hours of content and currently features the greatly hyped Deutschland 83, acclaimed French political drama Spin and the Afghanistan-based Kabul Kitchen, which is pitched as ‘if Homeland was a sitcom…’

As well as the 2015 Fire TV box and PlayStation 4, All 4 is also available on iOS, Android, Xbox 360 and One, PlayStation 3, Sky, Virgin Media, Freeview Play, Freesat Freetime, YouView, Now TV and Roku boxes and Samsung smart TV.
