Ashes highlights coming to Freeview, Sky, Virgin Media and Freesat on Pick

Freeview, Freesat and Virgin Media viewers will be able to get highlights of Ashes games thanks to Sky showing clips on its free channel Pick. 

For the first time ever, the free channel will show off highlights of the cricketing action from Thursday November 21 onwards. 

During the Ashes series, Sky will broadcast one-hour highlights programme at 10:00pm every day following each Test, ODI and T20 match.

The decision to show highlights on Pick will let millions of UK homes enjoy Sky Sports’ acclaimed cricket coverage. 

Pick channel director Stephen Ladlow said: “We are delighted to be able to showcase such a huge sporting event on Pick for our viewers. The Ashes is always compelling viewing and making the highlights available on Pick will give many more homes the opportunity to get a daily dose of Sky’s outstanding cricket coverage.” 

Sky Sports viewers will be able to watch Ashes games live on Sky Sports 2 or on the web, phone, tablet or desktop via Sky Go. The Sky Sports Ashes Event Centre, available online or for iPad, will let viewers relive highlights and analyse stats on the go.
