BoxNation and Premier Sports will join TalkTalk TV’s sports line-up this season, meaning customers can catch up on all the boxing action and international sports in one place.
Both channels will be available as TV Boosts, although the ISP is yet to reveal how much Premier Sports will cost to add onto your package. Boxation will cost £12 a month, with no ongoing commitment.
The new sports channels are added to TalkTalk’s existing sports line-up that includes access to all seven Sky Sports channels for £15 a month for three months (the standard monthly price is £30).
TalkTalk said: “There’s never been a better time to join TalkTalk. TalkTalk TV’s Essential package, including home phone, totally unlimited broadband and TV, is half price at £4.25 a month for six months, plus line rental.
“Plus TV, including a YouView+ set top box that can record over 200 hours of TV (usually £299), seven Sky entertainment channels, totally unlimited broadband and anytime calls, is half price at £9.25 a month for six months plus line rental.”
BoxNation will show the IBF World Super-Bantamweight Championship between Kiko Martinez and Carl Frampton on September 6, followed by Floyd Mayweather’s WBC and WBA Super World Welterweight championship match against Marcos Madiana on September 13 in Las Vegas.
In November, you’ll be able to watch one of the most anticipated boxing matches of the year, between Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora from London’s ExCel arena.
Premier Sports will show a range of international sports including Australia’s National Rugby League, the Four Nations, 15 NHL ice hockey and the NASCAR Sprint Cup from Bristol Motor Speedway on August 23.
The channel will also broadcast Irish Hurling and Gaelic Football games in both the GAA Championships and Allianz League, and Mixed Martial Arts cage fighting.
Both BoxNation and Premier Sports will be available to existing TalkTalk TV customers from August 22 (Friday) from the TalkPlayer, on a rolling monthly contract with no commitment.
