BT Sport is to make this weekend’s Aviva Premiership Rugby coverage free for Sky and Virgin Media TV customers.
Coverage will kick off from 5:30pm onwards on Friday night until Sunday evening and will include Saracens trip to Wembley to take on Harlequins.
As well as the Saracens v Harlequins game, Worcester Warriors host London Wasps at Sixways, followed by the Wembley showdown, which is back-to-back with Bath Rugby’s trip to London Irish at 5.30pm at the Madejski Stadium in Reading.
The weekend of live matches on BT Sport concludes on Sunday March 23 when Welford Road hosts the clash between Leicester Tigers and Exeter Chiefs.
BT Sport is free with BT Broadband. Customers who wish to watch via their TVs require a set top box: for BT TV customers this is a YouView box with BT Infinity. Sky TV customers can get BT Sport in SD for free if they take BT Broadband adding £3/month if they want the channels in HD. Sky TV customers who don’t want BT Broadband can instead pay £12/month for BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2 and ESPN in SD or £15/month for these channels in high definition.
Virgin Media XL TV customers can get BT Sport HD free as part of their packages; Virgin Media also offers the channels as a standalone premium service to TV customers who do not take the XL pack.
TV customers who receive the channels via BT TV with BT Infinity or on the Sky digital satellite platform have the option of receiving the channels in HD for just £3 a month.
