Two TOWIE special editions and more minor celebs than you can fit round a dinner table will star in the opening night of ITV’s new free channel for women.
ITVBe will launch on October 8 with a two-hour celebrity bash to celebrate the launch of the channel presented by Peter Andre and Jamelia, before two exclusive editions of its flagship show The Only Way is Essex.
Celebrity interviews from the red carpet will be mixed with previews showcasing new shows including Celebrity Dinner Date, featuring Joe Swash, The Real Housewives of Cheshire and Seven Days With… and many more.
The channel’s opening gambit will be a special edition of The Only Way is Essex – set in Ibiza – followed by extra action from the show with TOWIE: All Back to Essex live from the Sugar Hut, hosted by Essex residents Denise Van Outen and Mark Wright.
Viewers will also be able to get involved with the action by tweeting your questions for the cast and watching them answered live, and there will be a preview of the second part of TOWIE’s Ibiza jaunt.
The launch night will also host the premiere of ITVBe’s brand new reality show, Seven Days With…, giving an insight into the lives of celeb couples Tamara Ecclestone and Jay Rutland, Brian and Vogue McFadden, Natasha Hamilton and Ritchie Neville, Ray and Emma Quinn, JB and Chloe Gill and Jennifer Ellison and Rob Tickle.
ITVBe also takes a daring trip into the lives of less famous people in Real Housewives of Cheshire, a brand new show that follows the affluent yummy mummies and WAGs of the county, none of whom have any ambition to become celebrities.
ITVBe will be available on Sky and Virgin as well as Freeview, Freesat and YouView. It will appear on Freeview at channel 26, with other channel numbers to be announced.
