Game of Thrones makes its next moves on Sky Atlantic in April

Epic fantasy series Game of Thrones will return to Sky Atlantic on Monday, April 2.

Adapted from the second novel in George R Martin’s series A Song of Ice and Fire, season two will air at 9pm on Monday nights.

The Golden Globe and Emmy-winning drama chronicles an epic struggle for power in a vast and violent fantasy kingdom.
The new season introduces talent including Rose Leslie (Downton Abbey), Hannah Murray (Skins), Natalie Dormer (The Tudors), Carice van Houten (Valkyrie), Liam Cunningham (Clash of the Titans), Michael McElhatton (Fifty Dead Men Walking), Stephen Dillane (The Shooting of Thomas Hurndall) and Tom Wlaschiha (Enemy at the Gates).

They join returning stars Emilia Clarke, Alfie Allen, Lena Headey, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Aidan Gillen, Kit Harington and Peter Dinklage, who won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Tyrion Lannister.

Sky Atlantic has also picked up US comedy House of Lies, starring Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell, based on the hit tell-all book from Martin Kihn, House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Then Tell You the Time.
