Arguably the most controversial and violent season of the hit fantasy epic yet, season 4 of Game of Thrones isn’t expected to go on sale until next year.

Blinkbox snapped up season 3 of the hit show, based on the doorstop-sized novels of George R. R. Martin, last July – months before the DVD release date.
The show is primarily set in the fantasy world of Westeros and follows the campaigns of various warring families and their struggles to seize, control and in some cases regain the titular Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms.
Season 4 was also notable for being the first to be made available to watch on Now TV – Sky’s on-demand service for non-Sky TV customers – at the same time as the Sky Atlantic TV broadcast.
