LG puts AllJoyn smartphone control into smart TVs

LG Smart TVs will soon be able to be controlled by smartphones and tablets, thanks to something called AllJoyn.

AllJoyn, which lets you stream content to TVs more easily, will be featured on LG’s range of 2014 smart TVs.

Developed by Qualcomm, the technology allows users to control a TV regardless of manufacturer from any smart device, be its Android, iOS or Windows Phone.  2013 and 2012 will be upgraded to support it over time.
