Local TV won’t be coming to Norwich on Freeview channel 8 for a while yet, but those eager for a taste of the action can tune in to Mustard TV online.
Dashings of local news, sport, weather and local listings are available to watch at mustardtv.co.uk now.
As well as giving local viewers an idea of what’s in store for when the channel launches in October, part of the plan of the online soft launch is to try out format ideas and see what’s popular with viewers.

Around three to four short news bulletins, including sports and property reports are uploaded each day, along with two weather reports.
Speaking to Broadcast, Mustard TV managing director Fiona Ryder said that the vision for the channel is for it to be seen as service that champions local issues and concerns and gives viewers a voice. As well as streaming video, viewers can also share videos on social networks and leave comments below.
Mustard TV has promised that on launch it’ll devote 90 minutes each weekday to local news, improving on the 16-18 minutes currently provided by BBC East and ITV Anglia. Mustard TV will be on the air from 6:00AM to 12:00 midnight seven days a week.
