Hit US series Lost, Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy and the Ghost Whisperer will join streaming TV and film service LoveFilm this year.
A deal with Disney-ABC brings access to American TV network ABC’s back catalogue for full seasons when shows finish their first run on UK TV.
Previous seasons of some series will be available to members before the next season airs on UK television.
Series such as Castle and Lost will be available from February, with Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy and the Ghost Whisperer joining the UK service later this year.
Simon Calver, CEO of Amazon’s LoveFilm, said: “LoveFilm members want top class TV shows, as well as movies, to watch instantly as part of their subscription. Today’s deal with Disney brings them access to some of the best American TV content ever produced.”
LoveFilm’s subscription streaming video service is available online and through a variety of connected TV platforms and games consoles.
