Lovefilm has announced that it’s signed up international crime show Crossing Lines for Lovefilm Instant in the UK.
Starring Donald Sutherland, William Fichtner (Prison Break) and Tom Wlaschiha (aka Jaqen H’Ghar from Game of Thrones) Crossing Lines takes a look at the International Criminal Court and its hunt for criminals whose operations transcend national borders.
The show has been a hit in the US and a second season has already been given the go-ahead with Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix) and Ray Stevenson (The Book of Eli) signed up.
Chris Bird, director of content strategy at Lovefilm says: “Today is another milestone moment in Lovefilm’s history as we take our next step into bringing new and previously unseen premium TV series to UK audiences.
“Knowing how much our members enjoy Criminal Minds, we are incredibly excited to become the exclusive home of Crossing Lines in the UK, and we think our TV fans are going to be completely captivated by this European police drama.”
US-based Criminal Minds is available to watch on Lovefilm Instant now, alongside the original Danish edition of The Killing. Crossing Lines arrives in the UK from October 25 onwards, expanding Lovefilm’s crime portfolio.
The first ten episodes of Copper, set in 1800’s New York City, are available to stream now.
Lovefilm Instant costs £5.99/month and is available on Windows and Mac desktops and laptops, all of the current-gen consoles (Wii U, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3) and the Wii, iPad and Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD, plus a selection of smart TVs and connected Blu-ray players from LG, Samsung, Sony and Panasonic.
