A new BT.com site will let customers check their broadband bills online, access BT email and eventually access exclusive BT Sport content.
The redesign will allow BT customers to manage a large number of services including BT Wi-fi and BT Cloud, reflecting the number of extra services BT now offers. BT Broadband customers will be able to log in and manage all of their services from one point, as well as access online help and support.
The new site has also been built to work on multiple screen sizes and will resize accordingly for desktop computers, tablets and phones.
Nick Wong, director of online at BT Retail Consumer, says: “The new BT.com website is part of BT’s commitment to help our customers get even more value out of the time they spend online. By combining the latest editorial content with easy access to all their BT online services we want to make things simple and enjoyable for our customers.”
As BT prepares to launch BT Sport and revamp its digital TV offering, the new site will reflect the broadband and phone provider’s bold next step into the pay-TV market. BT.com will also host a selection of editorial content produced in-house supplemented by video, covering news, entertainment, technology and lifestyle.
BT.com is due to launch in June 2013. No set launch date has been given yet but we’ll update once we know more.
