Sky TV subscribers can now get Film4 HD on channel 315.
The high definition movie channel was previously only available on Virgin Media (channel 429) to Virgin TV M+, L and XL subscribers with V HD or TiVo boxes.
Sky customers can get Film4 HD with the basic Entertainment Extra+ pack for either £32/month or for an extra £5.25/month when combined with Sky Sports (£22/month) and/or Sky Movies (£16/month), plus the requisite Entertainment pack (£21.50/month).
Read more about 4oD, Sky On Demand and Sky GoFilm4 HD broadcasts a selection of titles in 1080i HD and 5.1 surround sound where available. Non-HD content will be upscaled from SD source material and so should look better than on the regular Film4 channel.

Earlier this year, Sky customers also got More4 HD for the first time and catch up service 4oD arrived in the Sky On Demand library back in March.
Film4 is also available on Sky Go, so you can watch movies and catch up on your laptop, phone or tablet though you can’t yet stream HD content everywhere.
