Sky entertainment content coming to TalkTalk TV on demand in 2014

TalkTalk TV will be making Sky Entertainment content available on-demand next year. 

Selected from Sky channels including Sky 1, Sky Living and Sky Arts 1 should available for Essentials and Plus customers to stream whenever they want. 

It’s not known which shows will be available to stream from launch, or exactly when the Entertainment content will be available.

Read Recombu Digital’s guide to TalkTalk TVThe company revealed its plans in its recent quarterly results, saying ‘We will also be offering Sky Entertainment On-Demand on 2014.’ 

A TalkTalk spokesperson said: “Because of our great relationship with Sky, TalkTalk TV customers can enjoy Sky Movies and Sky Sports on demand. We look forward to continuing to work with Sky and offering quality content to our growing TV customer base.” 

Part of Sky and TalkTalk’s wholesale agreement means that TalkTalk TV customers can sign up to Sky 1, Sky Living, Sky Arts 1 & 2, Sky News and Sky Sports News as well as Sky Sports 1, 2, 3 and 4, Sky Sports F1 plus all of the 11 Sky Movies channels. 

TalkTalk TV customers can sign up for the TV Starter Boost which costs £5/month and gives you access to channels like Sky 1, Sky 2, Sky Living and Sky Arts 1. Sky Sports on TalkTalk TV costs £30/month and Sky Movies costs £15/month. 

TalkTalk TV has grown by leaps and bounds since its launch. The latest figures show that the service has over 550,000 customers, many of which have signed up for premium Sky content. TalkTalk aims to have 1 million TV customers by July.
