Sky Go adds Universal Channel, SyFy and E! to catch-up line up

Mobile streaming and catch-up service Sky Go has added Universal Channel, SyFy and E! To its roster. 

The trio of new entertainment channels joins the likes of Sky Living, Sky Atlantic and Sky 1 as well as streams of ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and UKTV channels like W, Gold and Dave, plus Cartoon Network, Fox and Comedy Central.

Shows that are new to these channels inlclude Extant, which began life on Amazon Prime Video and Killjoys on SyFy, I am Cait and The Royals on E! and How to Get Away with Murder and Sleepy Hollow plus the aforementioned Chicago Med on Universal Channel. 

According to Sky, the most popular shows viewed via Sky Go in recent months have been Ex on the Beach (MTV) The Walking Dead (Fox) and A League of Their Own (Sky 1), while Manchester City’s narrow cup win over Liverpool in February proved to be the hottest sporting moment on Sky Go. 

Sky Go lets subscribers access live streams and box set content from over 60 channels. Subscribers to the Sky Sports and Sky Movies premium channels can also be able to access live sports and movies content on the go.  

Sky Go content can be accessed through the Microsoft Silverlight-powered desktop player or on iOS and Android devices. Sky TV customers can access Sky Go on up to two devices and standard; you can increase this to up to four devices by signing up for Sky Go Extra, which costs £5/month in addition to your susbcription.
