Sky Movies deal nabs The Master and Silver Linings Playbook for Sky Go and Now TV

Sky Movies has announced its latest exclusive deal, this time with indie film specialists Entertainment Film Distributors. 

The deal will see hit titles including The Master, starring Joaquin Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman and Silver Linings Playbook, starring Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper heading to Sky Movies subscribers. 

Other classics available include Brokeback Mountain, The Departed, Gangs of New York, American Psycho and Ali

As well as arriving on Sky Movies channels and available uncut and ad-free on via Sky Movies Box Office, you’ll also be able to stream them on demand via Sky Go on your laptop, tablet or phone. Non-Sky TV subscribers who’ve signed up for Now TV will also be able to access the films with a Sky Movies monthly pass. 

Part of the deal will see new titles being available exclusively via Sky Movies and Now TV for more than a year, with new titles arriving six months after cinematic runs have finished.

Upcoming sci-fli flick, The Host based on the Stephenie Meyer novel of the same name, will be one of the first films to arrive exclusively on Sky Movies and Now TV as a result of this deal.
