Sky Multiroom rebranded, now called Sky Multiscreen

Sky has rebranded Multiroom; the service that lets you have multiple Sky+HD boxes in the home now goes by the name of Sky Multiscreen.

To reflect the fact that Sky Go Extra lets you access Sky TV channels on a number of screens besides your TV – your laptop, tablet or phone – the service has been given a new moniker to reflect the mobile nature of the service.

Sky Go Extra, which launched this summer, costs £5 a month for regular Sky TV subscribers but has been bundled as a free feature for customers taking out Sky Multiscreen.
