Sky promotion promises new Sky Sports customers two years of free broadband.

Anyone who signs up for Sky Sports can enjoy two years of free broadband starting from June 12th, 2014. The limited-time promotion provides Sky Unlimited broadband, a copper-based service capable of up to 17Mb download speeds.

The promotion, which Sky is calling its “best ever broadband offer”, comes after the launch of Sky Sports 5, a channel dedicated to covering European football. Sky Sports 5 is included in the Sky Sports package.

Those who wish to go for slightly faster broadband can benefit from another separate promotion. Sky Sports customers can opt for Sky Fibre Unlimited broadband for £10 for the first year instead of the usual £20. The maximum download speed of this service is 38Mbps.

“Sky Sports 5 takes our unrivalled live football coverage to the next level offering more European football than ever before. There’s never been a better time to be a Sky Sports customer and with two years’ free totally unlimited broadband, we offer the ultimate package for sports fans,” Sky Sports managing director Barney Francis commented.

Your best bet is to head over to Sky’s website come June 12th to register your interest.
