TalkTalk cuts up to 38Mbps Fibre Broadband down to £7.50/month

TalkTalk has cut the price of its up to 38Mbps unlimited broadband service down to £7.50/month.

For your money you’ll get an unlimited FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) service that’s uncompromised by any traffic management at any time of day plus a free TalkTalk SuperRouter, which boasts WiFi AC, and a 3×3 MIMO dual-band antenna module.

Normally costing £10/month for 18 months, this latest offer, available until August 13 sees you having to take TalkTalk line rental as part of the bargain.

This costs either £16.70/month at the standard monthly rate, or if you can stump up £180.36 at once you can get 12 months of line rental paid for in one lump sum.

While that’s a lot to fork out for all at once, it’ll save you around £20, as it’s equivalent to paying £15.03/month instead. There’s also a one-off £50 connection fee.

This discount only applies to TalkTalk Fibre Broadband on its own; if you want to combine that with TalkTalk Essentials TV or Plus TV, the normal £10/month price applies.

While you’ll need to be able to get FTTC broadband, chances are you’ll be able to do that now – superfast broadband from BT’s Openreach network, which TalkTalk uses, is now available to 80 per cent of UK addresses

Tough luck if you were hoping to combine this money-saving deal with some cheap Sky Sports packages as well; TalkTalk’s just cut the regular £30/month price down to £11/month for the duration of the 2015/16 Premier League season.
