Tesco Hudl tablet comes bundled with a year of free broadband

Tesco’s budget-cost Hudl tablet comes bundled with a year’s worth of free broadband. 

Customers who snap up one of the quad-core Archos-made tablets online or in the high street will be able to get free broadband provided they sign up for a £14.90/month Tesco Homephone package. 

This package includes download speeds of up to 14Mbps, unlimited usage, Evening & Weekend Calls (01, 02, 03 and 0845/0870) plus line rental.

Clubcard points can be collected on all Tesco Broadband bills and subscribers can also access the Clubcard TV on-demand service

Tesco Broadband currently costs £2/month when taken with the Evening & Weekends phone package, so this deal saves you £24 on broadband on the first year. 

Rival high street retailer John Lewis started offering free broadband with electronic goods earlier this year. The company, whose slogan is ‘Never Knowingly Undersold’, is only offering six months free instead of a year however.  

The 7-inch Hudl tablet was launched last week, costs £119 and boasts some impressive specs. Our colleagues at Recombu Mobile were sufficiently impressed and have shot an unboxing video which you can see below.
