Manchester-based entertainment complex The Printworks is to offer customers free Wi-Fi following a deal with The Cloud.
The new service will allow punters to browse the internet and social media, as well as check for upcoming events.
Located on Exchange Square in Manchester City Centre, The Printworks is home to 20 different venues from restaurants, bars and clubs to a state of the art cinema and gym.
Vince Russell, Managing Director of The Cloud, adds: “This service of course benefits the thousands of visitors passing through the venue’s doors each day. But moreover it offers numerous business benefits to The Printworks tenants.”
“It can be used as an unobtrusive advertising channel that benefits both customer and tenant – for example a couple spending an afternoon at the cinema may see a great offer for a Printworks restaurant and decide to eat out too. It is that kind of revenue potential that our service can provide to businesses like The Printworks and we’re delighted it’s now part of our network.”
The complex attracts eight million visitors a year and houses firms such as the Odeon, Harvester and Hard Rock Café. The Printworks has installed The Cloud Wi-Fi to enhance visitor experience as they enjoy a day or night out in the complex.
As people log onto The Cloud’s Wi-Fi, they will first be greeted by a branded The Printworks page, which will include information about the venue. Those using The Cloud’s FastConnect app will also be able to access special offers from selected partners.
