The Only Way Is Essex will be rehoused away from conventional TV when female-friendly channel ITVBe launches on October 8.
ITVBe will be available on Sky and Virgin as well as Freeview, hosting British and US reality and non-scripted shows ‘dedicated to lifestyle and entertainment programming, celebrating real life and real people’.
The channel was announced earlier this year after ITV chiefs realised that all women are shallow idiots obsessed with celebrity, fashion, gossip and babies.
Other shows on the new ITVBe will include Baby Wears Prada, which looks at the extraordinary lengths people go to when spoiling their kids.
Seven Days With… is a new reality series that gives viewers an insight into the lives and relationships of some of the UK’s favourite celebrity couples.
Real Housewives of Cheshire takes a look inside the champagne-fuelled lives of Cheshire’s most affluent social circle, infiltrates their friendship groups and revels in their rivalries.
ITVBe will also be available through ITV Player on any device decorated with fake Swarovski crystals.
Dinner Date will transfer from ITV to a peak-time ITVBe slot.
ITVBe will be the broadcasters fifth major channel and is said to “complement ITV2, which will continue to strengthen its position as the home of entertainment for 16-34-year-olds”.
Further details on schedules are set to be announced closer to launch. The channle was originally announced back in February.
