Provider of wireless broadband to rural North Yorkshire communities CLANNET has set up two hotspots in Leyburn and Appleton Wiske.
Wireless broadband providing download speeds of up to 25Mbps are now available in the village of Leyburn and visitors to Appleton Wiske Village Hall can make use of a public WiFi network.
CLANNET hopes to expand its services in Appleton Wiske during future upgrades, though there’s no mention of roughly when this will happen or how wide-ranging the coverage will be.
