Wuaki.tv has launched a Windows 8.1 app, bringing HBO titles and more to desktops, laptops and tablets.
The new app comes to Windows 8.1 devices for the first time and lets customers stream content in SD and HD over a wired or WiFi connection.
The app arrives weeks after Wuaki sealed a deal with HBO, bringing hit shows such as Girls, Game of Thrones, The Wire and The Sorpanos to the table.
Wuaki also features content from Warner Bros., Disney, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment as well as homegrown classics from the BBC and ITV.

As well as letting Windows 8.1 users stream titles from thw Wuaki site, the new app also lets you pin entire movies, TV series or individual episodes to the Start menu, so they can be watched without firing up the full app.
Prices for movies on Wuaki start at £2.99 to rent. Prices vary from £3.49 to £4.49 depending on the title. Movies are priced from £10.99 to buy in SD and £13.99 for HD copies. TV shows are usually priced per series and are only available to buy. Prices start at £13.99 per series.
