Android 2.3/Gingerbread spied running on a Google Nexus S

More leaked shots of a phone purported to be the Google Nexus S, this time courtesy of XDA Developers. The shots are rather blurry but clearly show some Samsung-esque icons at the bottom of the phone.

As well as these shots there’s a new batch of listed specs – screen size is said to be 4-inches and is a Super AMOLED 2. The Google Nexus S is also said to come with an Armv7 processor (which could be dual-core), support for Open GL ES, either 512 or 328MB RAM (not confirmed), 1GB or 2GB internal memory (also not confirmed), 800 x 480 screen resolution and a camera that can record 720p HD video.

We’ll be disappointed if the internal memory turns out to be around the 1 or 2GB mark – that’s a long way off the massive 16GB we thought we’d be getting with the Nexus S. Then again these specs aren’t confirmed so we hope that the earlier rumours we’ve heard about the Nexus S are closer to the mark.
