Enterprising Flickr user Drummertist has handily visualised the real ‘fragmentation’ issue affecting Android; the positioning of the four keys at the bottom of different Android phones. Engadget followed suit with its version (right) incorporating some devices (Galaxy S, Streak) which do away with the four button layout altogether.
We’ll be honest this annoys us a little too. It would be nicer if there was a kind of uniform button layout across Android phones.
But then again, it really doesn’t us take that long to adjust to a slightly different way of doing the same thing.
