UN peace talks between militant groups known as “The Birds” and “The Pigs” broke down in Israel this week.
The two forces have been locked in warfare since it was alleged that the Pigs abducted the Birds’ eggs. Subsequent rumours suggested that the hostage eggs were then consumed by the Pigs.
Officials from both sides were prepared to put an end to the conflict which has seen countless casualties on both sides, but radicals from the Bird camp were not prepared to accept the UN’s terms.
Experts suggest that the UN will wash its hands of these farmyard politics following the catastrophic end to these peace talks, leaving the Birds and Pigs to finish each other off. [A Wonderful Country]
