App Round Up – Episode 1: How to be a spy

Welcome to the first episode of our new show, App Round Up. Every fortnight we’ll be searching through the thousands of apps available on iOS, Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry OS to show you which good, bad and buggy apps are worth trying out for yourself, or steering clear of at all costs.

With today being the launch of James Bond: Skyfall and the 50th anniversary of the Bond on the silver screen, we thought what better way to celebrate than to find which apps have the greatest potential in turning you into a secret agent.

What’s app this week

We’ve got three apps which we think can help with your spying prowess. First up it’s security, and we have a Fingerprint Scanner to help keep your secrets locked away safely. Next up we have an app designed with covert surveillance in mind in the form of IP Webcam and lastly when you need to disguise your voice when arranging to meet a contact or intimidate an enemy, we’ve suggested Voicemod Lite.

We’d love to hear what you think about this new show and you can get in touch via our Facebook and Twitter feeds, or in the comments below.
