Apple iPad 3: Screen and circuitry

In all its beauty, this here is a sheet of iPad 3 glass so says 9 to 5 Mac along with a host of iPad 3 circuitry images scoured from far and wide (Apple Daily to be precise). While we all know that the iPad 3 is going to look a lot like the iPad 2, the devil is in the detail and the iPad 3 changes are likely going to be just that – detail. More detail in the screen and more detail in the camera.

Sitting underneath the glass panel above, the iPad 3 screen will likely be the 2048×1536 resolution display. This incredible resolution would better the upcoming full HD Android tablets such as the Asus Transformer Prime TF700T and their 1920×1200 screens. Given the fact that the iPad 2 didn’t improve the pixel-power of the display, we think some kind of bump up is a given.

The remaining circuitry shots also indicate a revised camera which could well be the same 8-megapixel unit found in the Apple iPhone 4S. Leaked shots of the back panel also reinforce this suggestion of a larger camera sensor. Still purported to be unveiled on 7 March, there are just weeks until we find this out, so while all you Apple fans exercise your patience, peruse over this stunning circuitry – we’re almost there.
