We review the best eReaders you can buy in 2015, from the latest light-up Kindle to a waterproof eBook reader you can take into the bath…
Amazon Kindle Voyage
It’s not a massive evolution on the Kindle Paperwhite, but the Voyage is one of the very best eReaders you can nab right now. That crisp backlit screen is a joy for extended reading and means you can get stuck into tomes ‘til the wee hours without disturbing your partner.
The Voyage’s design is attractive and functional, proving slim and light enough to slip into pretty much any bag or even large pockets. And of course, the Kindle Store is still the best eBook stash by far, packing an obscene number of titles covering every genre and sub-genre imaginable.

Kobo Aura H2O
If you want an eReader for chilling in the bath (or shower, or sea, or any other wet place) then the Kobo Aura H2O is pretty much your only choice thanks to its handy water resistance.
However, that’s not to say that the Aura H2O is a one-trick reader. With long battery life, a bright HD screen and a smart, intuitive interface, there’s plenty to recommend – especially if you want an eReader for enjoying graphic novels or offline webpages.
However, the Kobo Store sadly falls flat compared to Amazon’s Kindle equivalent, with its overpriced books and lack of customer feedback.

Another backlit eReader like the Kindle Voyage, the GlowLight by Barnes & Noble boasts a crisp 6-inch screen and similarly long battery life. You can of course carry thousands of books with you, downloaded fresh from the Nook Store (which also stocks newspapers, comics etc if you fancy a break from literature).
Don’t forget that you can also easily read eBooks on your phone or tablet, simply by downloading an app from your device’s apps store. For instance, Amazon’s Kindle app is available on iOS, Windows and Android and gives you direct access to the Kindle Store for downloading and reading books on the go.
