We love junk food. Sure, our waistlines are rapidly expanding, but there’s nothing more satisfying than chowing down on unhealthy food after a long day of writing about unhealthy food. Mobile makes it extremely easy to get a junk fix too, so which apps are the best at delivering calories straight to your mouth?
Just Eat and Hungryhouse are the obvious choices. Both have mobile apps that will allow you to browse all the restaurants offering delivery in your area, and both can sort cuisine by specific tastes. After Chinese? Feeling more like Indian? The choice is yours. You can browse through reviews on either service (just watch out for astroturfing), and easily pay by cash or card when you put your order through.

If you’re looking for something somewhat more affordable, then Subway is a good fit. The sandwich company’s mobile apps will allow you to keep tabs on your loyalty points, whilst suggesting a few goodies you can already afford (as well something you might be working toward) with your hard earned credit. What’s more the TellSubway feature means you can give your opinion on how things are run and even snag a free cookie in the process. Yum.
But if it’s pizza you crave, then it’s hard to ignore Pizza Hut, Domino’s, and Papa John’s. All three chains have apps for iOS and Android that will quickly let you order whatever toppings you desire. There are some deals luring within the apps too, although you might be better served by searching the web the good old fashioned way.
And you have a great excuse for ordering no matter what you want to eat: it’s Friday. Happy hunting.
