Feeling plush? Best PAYG phones on O2 over £300

With this amount of cash, you can basically take your pick between the Samsung Galaxy S6, Sony Xperia Z5, LG G4 and Nexus 6P, four of the best mobiles of 2015. In fact, they’re so good that we slipped them into our mighty Best of Android Battle Royale. At just £369 at the time of writing, the Galaxy S6 in particular is solid value. And you can snap up the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact for just £311, which is a stand-out bargain for this mini mobile packing Sony’s best-in-class 23-megapixel camera and fingerprint sensor.

You can also grab Apple’s latest iPhone 6s, with its pressure-sensitive 3D Touch screen and updated camera.

If you’re all about boundary-pushing design then go for Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge with its funky curved screen, although that rounded edging really is just a visual treat with not much in the way of actual functionality.

O2 has just slashed the price of the Apple iPhone 5s, so you can now snap it up for just £299 on Pay As You Go. The 5s may be quite dinky compared with recent Apple mobiles, but the Retina screen is still gorgeous and the A7 chip can handle the latest apps and games.

Budget blower: Best PAYG phone on O2 under £200

You can grab a refurbed LG G3 for just £199 on O2 PAYG, which is a bit of a bargain. It may be over a year old now but the G3 was the first phone in the UK to pack a gloriously crisp Quad HD screen, while the 13-megapixel camera is still a great and dependable everyday snapper.

The third generation Motorola Moto G (2015 edition) is also a superb phone at the low price of just £139, boasting the same excellent camera that graced the much-more-expensive Nexus 6 last year, plus a sharp, colourful Full HD screen for movies, apps and more. And at the time of writing you get a free coloured shell to jazz the Moto G up.
